Artist: Tora Urup

Galerie Maria Wettergren presents Glass Reflections, an exhibition dedicated to Danish artist Tora Urup and her new eponymous monograph. The presentation brings together a selection of both early and recent works, through which the artist explores glass as a sensitive and optical medium. Through her handblown glass sculptures, Urup subtly investigates colour, materiality and perception, transforming familiar glass objects, such as the bowl and the dish, into sophisticated sculptural and spatial experiences.
