Artist: Signe Pierce

ANNKA KULTYS GALLERY presents NEW WORLD AURA, the fifth solo exhibition by American artist Signe Pierce (b. 1988, Arizona). The exhibition inaugurates the gallery’s new 280 sqm space in London and coincides with its tenth anniversary.

Pierce, who defines herself as a ‘reality artist’, works across performance, photography, installation, and video. Since her widely acclaimed film ‘American Reflexx’ presented in 2015, Pierce has developed a practice that probes the intersections of media, perception, and identity.

In NEW WORLD AURA, Pierce brings together two new bodies of work: NEOLEXICON (2025), a large-scale video animation comprising nearly 200 neologisms. HOLOCLOUDS (2025), a series of prismatic light projections onto canvas that expand her engagement with abstraction.

Together, these works mark a significant moment in Pierce’s career, extending her exploration of reality and image into new formal and conceptual registers.

Ticketing

Reflecting Pierce’s call for reprogramming systems, ANNKA KULTYS GALLERY introduces a new ticketing model. All visitors are asked to RSVP and purchase a ticket, which is fully redeemable toward the acquisition of prints or the gallery’s signature tote, with 50–100% of the fee returned directly to the artist.
