An Austrian artist often gets more recognition overseas than in his home country.
FERRO’s collectors mainly come from North and South America – where his works are included in prestigious collections like the Fondation Fontanals-Cisneros (Miami) or the MACBA in Buenos Aires.
"A POETRY MOMENT"
highlights new filigree mobiles that float like a mesh of lines in the space as well as a selection of works on paper which were created during his time in New York in the mid 90's. The drawings explain why FERRO’s sculptures – that play with the soft poetry of light and shadow – remind us of musical scores projected into the third-dimension.
