Mon-Fri 10am-5pm
14 May 2026 | London | full auction details
London Craft Week and FiredUp4 present Curated Ceramics.
Curated by Artist Ambassador and co-founder for the charity Kate Malone MBE, the auction presents an unrivalled opportunity to bid for 12 special lots of ceramic art by 12 selected artists who were invited to donate their works.
Auction Lots include a moulded, carved and hand-built porcelain vessel with an interior of dancing sprigs by the celebrated artist Japanese born artist Hitomi Hosono, a stunning ceramic sculpture using digital coiling technique by Ryan Barrett and a richly coloured work by the acclaimed Australian ceramic artist Pippin Drysdale whose international profile sees her works represented in museums, galleries and private collections worldwide. To add to the richness of the auction, Kate Malone will not only be donating one of her own pieces but will also be donating a work from her personal collection, a wonderful vase made by Lucie Rie (1902–95). This pot was passed from the maker, to a collector, to an artist over a period of 60 years.
Sale proceeds are in support of the work of FiredUp4 Clay Clubs. FiredUp4 is a charity that runs Clay Clubs, ceramic classes that offer young people a hands-on (and screen-free) way to explore their creativity, find focus, and discover themselves. FiredUp4 works in partnership with OnSide, a network of state-of-the-art youth centres built in the UK’s most economically disadvantaged areas.
