19 East 66th Street, NY 10065 Daniel Ambrosi: Central Park
Tue-sat 10am-6pm
Artist: Daniel Ambrosi
Robilant+Voena presents an exhibition of works by digital artist Daniel Ambrosi in New York, featuring ten new landscape pieces depicting Central Park.
The works feature both familiar vistas and some lesser-known corners of the iconic New York park designed by landscape architects Frederick Law Olmsted and Calvert Vaux. The new works by Ambrosi are created using the artist’s pioneering technique that combines original photography, computer graphics and artificial intelligence, which he first conceived in 2015 and which he has continued to develop and refine over the past decade, including during an artist's residency at Cornell University in 2024.
This is the artist’s second solo show with Robilant+Voena, following an acclaimed exhibition on the landscapes of the 18th-century visionary Capability Brown in London in 2023. One work from the new Central Park series was part of the groundbreaking Augmented Intelligence sale at Christie’s, New York, in March 2025, and a further work by Ambrosi featured in Sotheby’s Contemporary Discoveries in New York in July 2025.
The exhibition is accompanied by a digital catalogue, with essays by Dr. Tim Barringer (Professor of Art History, Yale University) and Jo Lawson-Tancred (Artnet News reporter and author of AI and the Art Market – Lund Humphries, 2024).
