Colector, founded in 2019 by architect Jesus Alberto Flores, is a contemporary art gallery located in San Pedro Garza Garcia, Monterrey. The gallery’s line dwells on the exploration of new languages in contemporary art, materializing between the limits of conceptual and abstract art. Colector currently represents young and mid-career Latin American artists as well as established international artists working in all forms of media - painting, sculpture, video, photography, performance. The curatorial program embodies the gallery’s desire to be used as laboratory, where experimentation and questioning concerning contemporary art takes place continuously. The gallery presents numerous on-site and off-site exhibitions, while being an active participant in international art fairs alongside some of the best contemporary art galleries in the world.
