Gilbert & George

UK born George Passmore and Italian Gilbert Prousch have been working together as the performance art duo Gilbert & George since meeting at London’s Saint Martin’s School of Art in 1967. The pair are known principally for being “living sculptures”, and for large scale photographic assemblies that deal unflinchingly with social and political issues.
