HB381 is a contemporary art gallery founded by Juliet Burrows and Kim Hostler. HB381 serves as a dedicated space for solo artist presentations, focusing on contemporary Nordic sculpture and ceramics. HB381 is located in the heart of Tribeca’s gallery district, at 381 Broadway (between White and Walker Streets).
Kim Hostler and Juliet Burrows founded their eponymous design gallery, Hostler Burrows, in 1998 and have established a reputation as leading specialists in 20th century Scandinavian furniture and decorative arts. Over the past decade, Burrows has spearheaded the development of the gallery’s contemporary program, with notable exhibitions such as Bend, Bubble and Shine: Copenhagen Ceramics and Matter at Hand: Ten Artists in Denmark. HB381 is a natural evolution of this passion, offering a broader platform for full artistic expression.

“Sample’s images move between observation and abstraction, where patterns, shadows, and environmental forms become quiet visual narratives … her work quietly calls attention to what stands to be protected and what may soon be lost”
