Canopy Collections was founded in London in 2020 by curator Louise Chignac and Cécile Ganansia. The gallery was originally established online as a response to the challenges presented during the pandemic, with a focus on building meaningful connections between emerging artists and new art collectors. Initially focussing on sophisticated displays in domestic spaces, their programme has developed over the past five years to encompass major collaborations and nomadic exhibitions across London, Paris and Milan. In September 2024, Canopy Collections opened their first permanent space in the historic area of Bloomsbury, London. From their Bloomsbury HQ, the gallery now hosts a regular programme of exhibitions with both emerging and established artists.
