Figuren is a show of firsts. It is the UK debut for leading Czech sculptor Richard Stipl, and the for German Neo-Expressionist Franz Hitzler. Martin Assig's Frida Kahlo Kleid, a major work, shall be shown in London for the first time, (alongside a rare etched portrait of Kahlo by her contemporary Margaret Bruton). Likewise, Kate McCrickard's series of three large-scale paintings allegorising the visual arts are (for the very first time) united and displayed together.
