3-6pm
Bluerider ART Shanghai, No. 133 Sichuan Middle Rd., Huangpu Dist.
Bluerider ART Shanghai · The Bund presents New Ink Series · Chapter III - Ink Unbound. Curated by Bluerider ART, the New Ink Series now enters its third chapter, spanning three continents. Chapter I, Ink Flux, opened the series in London’s Mayfair, presenting ink as a medium in constant flux and becoming. Chapter II, Ink Reborn, unveiled in Los Angeles to explore the rebirth of ink in the contemporary era. Chapter III, Ink Unbound, returns to the East, arriving on Shanghai · The Bund under the theme of “unbound” — pointing to ink’s vital capacity to endure by breaking, and to be reborn through breakthrough. From flux, to rebirth, to unbound, the three chapters form a single narrative arc, bearing witness to a new generation of New Ink artists who have stepped onto the international stage and now look back on tradition with a sharper language.
