Artist: Anna Bjerger
Galleri Magnus Karlsson presents works by Anna Bjerger in the inner room of the gallery. Comma features a number of paintings created over the past few months.
When working on these paintings, I have gathered motifs much like diary entries. Light, shapes, and associations are the main factors guiding my choices, but also intuition and doubt. There is an inherent chronology, movement and sense of time within the paintings. They encompass both the personal and the universal, creating a sense of intimacy whilst maintaining a certain distance. This contrast is also reflected in my painting process.
