Pi Artworks moves and expands

Perseverance Works

The international contemporary art gallery Pi Artworks, founded in 1998, has announced the move from its Fitzrovia home of thirteen years to a new space in London’s Shoreditch.

“The move reflects a broader shift towards a more open and interdisciplinary model that brings together exhibitions, sound, live programming, and collaborative practice under one roof” - Pi Artworks’ founder Jade Yesim TuranlıOpening to coincide with London Gallery Weekend 2026, the new space covers two floors of Perseverance Works, the former Victorian textile warehouse and one of East London’s oldest creative hubs. Designed to operate simultaneously across both floors, the space allows exhibitions, sound works, performances, and live events to exist in dialogue throughout the building.

This new phase for the gallery also sees the launch of Pi Soundworks, an initiative founded with Liam Howe of the 1990s band Sneaker Pimps.

The opening presentation was conceived specifically for the new space and marks both a physical and symbolic transition for the gallery - Mehmet Ali Uysal’s Skin is a solo exhibition by the Paris based sculptor known for works that intervene directly into architecture and surface.
