Established over 40 years ago The Showroom commissions and presents art exhibitions that challenge ideas about what art can be and do. As a not-for-profit, the gallery gives space for visionary artists to research and experiment, to produce and engage with audiences on some of the most important issues of our time. Often working with international artists and practices, The Showroom is also deeply committed to collaboration with their local community with whom they have a longstanding relationship and track record of working together.
