Education: Parsons School of Design in New York; Cooper Union, New York (1985)

Known for his massive, explosive sculptural works, Drew creates abstract pieces that explore the tension between order and chaos - “pocked, splintered, seemingly burned here, bristling there, unexpectedly delicate elsewhere. An endless catastrophe seen from above. The energies intimated in these works are beyond human control, bigger than all of us” - Roberta Smith in the New York Times
