Bartha Contemporary presents an exhibition of works by British artist Sarah Chilvers. The artist's third solo show with the gallery displays a wide variety of works, both new or from the artist's archive, which showcase Chilvers' continued interest in abstraction and colour theory. The artist will experiment with different modes of presentation and develop the installation on-site.

Sarah Chilvers is known for her systematic drawings emerging from radiating lines and blocks of colour. Emanating from a central point, Chilvers' works on paper and wood panels of varying dimensions form a key element of the artist's practice.
Although the artist works through video, photography and temporary installations, her paintings on found paper and plywood panels best showcase Chilvers’ inherent understanding of composition.
Sarah Chilvers was born in 1970; she lives and works in mid-Wales.
