Artist: Omotunwase Osinaike

The exhibition celebrates the work made during Omotunwase’s residency at the Bomb Factory, which has enabled the artist to be more diverse and experimental in his approach.

For his forthcoming show in the Bomb Factory’s Holborn gallery he has produced a series of new paintings that are largely inspired by Gwendolyn Brooks’ poem We Real Cool. The artist, who hails from Ogun in Southern Nigeria, investigates themes of self-examination, and the sanctity of life.
