Opening: Friday 13 January, 6pm-9pm T293 presents the second solo exhibition at the gallery with collective Numero Cromatico.
“The future will not wait for us” is an exhibition, as well as an installation, an image, a path. In the space of the gallery the collective presents an unprecedented project that delves into some of its latest, crucial research topics – being the relationship between the natural and the artificial; the construction of enriched spaces; the activation of a critical relationship between the viewer and the artwork, between the viewer and their inner world.
Numero Cromatico displays a body of large-scale artworks from the series Tulips – visual twines of image and text, created using algorithms and artificial intelligence and made from free-to-move tiles. The past and the future, traditional materials and techniques, are brought to a new life and offer themselves as the starting point for a reflection on who we are and who will be tomorrow.
