Sotheby’s Switzerland presents its cross-category sale in Zurich, open for bidding online from 7 to 14 June 2022. Henceforth called the Modern & Contemporary Auction, this sale pursues its commitment to extend beyond borders to include renowned Swiss artists alongside international Impressionist, Modern, Contemporary art, Photography and Design.
At the heart of Europe, Switzerland is a key platform for collectors and art lovers. By combining works by famous Swiss artists such as Giacometti, Hodler or Vallotton with internationally celebrated artists such as Poliakoff, Richter or Zao Wou-Ki in our sales, Zurich’s wide collector base has continued to grow, bringing in new bidders from more than 25 countries and achieving strong results for our consignors. This enthusiastic response from collectors has demonstrated both the strength of the market and our global outreach.
