Artist: Martin Kippenberger

Opening: Saturday 21 January, 4pm-7pm On the occasion of Martin Kippenberger’s 70th birthday Capitain Petzel presents Heavy Burschi, opening in Berlin on January 21, 2023. The installation was displayed for the first time at Kölnischer Kunstverein in Cologne in 1991, bringing together many of the defining themes of Kippenberger’s practice, both in terms of media and its process of production. The exhibition will be joined by a presentation of Heavy Mädel at Galerie Gisela Capitain opening in Cologne on February 11, 2023.
