Addis Fine Art presents the inaugural AFA Project Space exhibition, a solo presentation of new works by Sudanese pointillist Amel Bashier.

AFA Project Space is the gallery's new initiative to invite and collaborate with select emerging galleries and artists, focusing on artists from the Global South. AFA Project Space aims to provide a unique opportunity for international artists and galleries not based in London to present exhibitions and events in our lower ground floor gallery space in central London.
The work of Sudanese artist Amel Bashier (b. 1981) is inspired by the wisdom and strength of her female ancestors, particularly those who struggled and fought for their rights. She uses their stories both as a source of vitality for her creative process, and as a point of comparison to the continued battle of the modern-day Sudanese women's rights movement.
