Hong KongImportant Chinese Art
The Important Chinese Art auction is a tightly curated assemblage with a focus on fine and rare porcelain and works of art from the Ming and Qing dynasties. The sale leads with a private collection of Ming and Qing porcelain, particularly rich in Qing doucai and monochromes, plus a selection of bronze incense burners from an important collection. Other highlights include a superb Xuande blue and white ‘dragon’ stem bowl unseen on the market for nearly 40 years and an exceptional Yongzheng famille-rose ‘prunus and lingzhi’ bowl. The sale will also present two rare Buddhist treasures: a Tang dynasty glass holy vessel and a Jin dynasty seated wood figure of Shakyamuni Buddha.
