This coming May, Sotheby’s Asian Art in London will present our spring sale of Important Chinese Art comprising many major collecting categories. The sale is led by an important private collection of magnificent Song ceramics, among them an important and extremely rare foliate-mouth Jun vase and an exceptional Jizhou ‘Plum Blossom Deer’ meiping. Other highlights include two very rare Tibetan 15th century gilt-copper alloy figures from the equestrian retinue of Vaishravana.
