LondonAs a butterfly folded in a caterpillar that will soon unfold
‘As a butterfly folded in a caterpillar that will soon unfold’ is the first exhibition taking place in the gallery’s new permanent space and explore contemporary manifestations of the fold in sculpture, painting and photography, including works by Gabriele Beveridge, Javier Chozas, Dorian Gaudin, Lydia Gifford, Charlie Godet-Thomas, Felix Kiessling, Sonia Kacem, Alicja Kwade, Marianne Spurr and Sara VanDerBeek.
NıCOLETTı is a contemporary art project which supports the development of emerging and mid-career artists. Created in 2018 as an itinerant curatorial project, NıCOLETTı is currently working on the establishment of a permanent gallery space in East London.
Committed to fostering dialogues between artists and practices engaging in and contributing to international critical discourse, NıCOLETTı organises thematic group exhibitions and commissions solo shows which address current artistic, cultural and political problematics.
