Anna Bella Geiger and Pedro Pinchas Geiger: Affective Cartography

Galería Marlborough, Barcelona

Artist: Anna Bella Geiger

Marlborough Barcelona presents an exhibition that seeks to shed light on the work of the artist Anna Bella Geiger and the geographer Pedro Pinchas Geiger (Brazil, 1923), revealing their relationship through a human, affective and critical geography, following in the wake of David Harvey and Milton Santos.

It is a journey that not only allows us to peer into the work of the two: it is also conceived as a way to explore the bond that unites them. The viewer will therefore witness the conversation shared between the two, whose trajectories have run in parallel since 1955, as well as the construction of a constant and always nurturing sentimental dialogue. This exhibition will be displayed as a preamble to the one that will be held in September 2024 at our headquarters in Madrid.
