Released on the occasion of the group exhibition The Gap: Selected Abstract Art from Belgium curated by Luc Tuymans at Parasol unit, London, 9 September – 6 December 2015, the publication includes full-page colour reproductions of works by exhibited artists such as Francis Alÿs, Pieter Vermeersch, and Gert Robijns. It is also accompanied by a conversation between exhibition curator Luc Tuymans and Dr. Ziba Ardalan, director and curator of Parasol unit, London as well as insightful essays on each of the fifteen exhibiting artists. The hand-numbered publication has a limited run of 1,200 copies.
