Tucked away in cobbled mews in Bloomsbury, London, The Perimeter opened in the summer of 2018.
Founded by Alexander V. Petalas and renovated by 6a Architects, the building has been transformed into a bright, airy space featuring thoughtful architectural details throughout. A unique platform for both contemporary art exhibitions.
Via pre-booked appointments, visitors are invited to experience this personal space where they can discover works by leading contemporary artists, previous exhibitions have hosted works by Sarah Lucas, Carmen Herrera, Wolfgang Tillmans, and Salman Toor among others at different stages of their careers. Comprised of pale concrete, dyed ash handrails, and a nickel-silver balustrade. The apparently weightless structure leaps from the double-height entrance hall, guided upward by a circular skylight framing the gallery’s pitched roof.
