Mobius Gallery
Opened in October 2015, Mobius Gallery has an international exhibition program with a particular focus on Eastern Europe. The gallery aims to stimulate dialogue and exchange between the Eastern European art scene and the international community through a series of special exhibitions, publications, events, and artist talks. Mobius Gallery has positioned itself as one of the most active contemporary art spaces in Romania. In the four years of activity, Mobius has become a fundamental and dynamic factor between artists, international galleries and the general public, with a substantial ability to analyze and synthesize the evolution of contemporary art in Romania.
At the national and international level, Mobius’s agenda includes 34 exhibitions and collaborations with well-known artists (AES + F, Andrei Gamarț, Codruța Cernea, CrocodilePOWER, Lea Rasovszky, Roman Tolici, Sándor Szász, Anders Krisá, Anna Khodorkovskaya, Claudia Larcher, Tara von Neudorf, Tina Lechner) and emerging (Sasha Bandi, Bianca Mann, Adi Tudose, Pandele Radu, Claudia Brăileanu, Horațiu Șovăială, Karolis Strautniekas), curators (Diana Marin, Ioana Ciocan, David Elliott, Călin Stegerea, Adriana Blidaru, Simon Hewitt, Ana Negoiță, Beral Madra, Anton Svyatsky, Carmen Casiuc), public and private institutions.
