DES BAINS is a contemporary art gallery based in London and founded by Maria Valeria Biondo and Elisa Rossetto. The gallery collaborates with artists, theorists, and writers whose practices exist at the intersection of both personal and collective experiences that give into the complex conditions we live in. Based on a collaborative research methodology DES BAINS focuses on discussions around psychogeography, the politics of human movement, borders, land and belonging. We aim to promote emerging art practitioners who are underrepresented within contemporary art ecologies and its markets.
